Laboratory Technicians are responsible for proactively finding solutions to problems and identifying areas for improving the business. Level 5 (Foundation Year) Higher Apprenticeship as a Technician Scientist and eventually to a Level 6 (Degree) Laboratory Scientist.

Laboratory Assistant (prefixed by sector), Laboratory Technician
Receive 10 certificates typically including COSHH Risk Assessment, Prevention and Control of Infection, Understanding the Safe Handling of Medication, Sustainability in the Healthcare Sector, Health and Safety in the Workplace
