LMP Education is a marketing leader apprenticeship training provider supporting the Early Years sector. We offer a range of apprenticeships for the sector that help educator develop and grow. One LMP apprentice that made the most of her programme is Chloe Salmon, a Level 3 Early Years Educator from Richmond Primary School.
Chloe stated that she chose this apprenticeship programme “to further my goals in my chosen career.” The apprenticeship pathway was appealing to her as it allowed her to gain experience while learning.
Apprenticeship programmes have a range of benefits for learners, from earning a wage while learning to enhanced support. Chloe stated that the biggest benefits to her were the flexibility offered and the increased support received. During her programme Chloe has been supported by her LMP Tutor and her mentor Amanda Bates.
The Early Years sector is one where apprentices are often seen. When asked why it is important to have apprenticeships within the Early Years sector Chloe highlighted the importance of having hands on experience in the role, something that apprenticeship programmes focus on.
LMP offers support to all our apprentices in learning their functional skills such as English and Maths. Chloe has benefitted greatly from the English support saying that “it helps me within my role to communicate more professionally.” On top of functional skills Chloe has said she’s most proud of developing her knowledge within her role.
Chloe is still early on in her apprenticeship journey, but she is already thinking of her next steps, saying that after completing her programme she wishes to continue to a Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification.
