Safeguarding and Wellbeing

We are committed to protecting and promoting the welfare, health and wellbeing of all children, young people, vulnerable adults, staff, associates and learners across our programmes. We believe that everyone participating in an LMP programme should learn and work in an environment where they feel safe, respected and protected from harm.

On this page you can view our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy, our Prevent Policy, and the most recent update on safeguarding from the Department for Education (DfE).

Culture of Concern

Our culture of safeguarding, known as the ‘Culture of Concern’, is embedded throughout the organisation and reflects our core values of Care, Communication, Collaboration and Cohesion. Through robust safeguarding practices, training and support, we aim to:

  • Provide a safe and supportive environment in which to learn and work.
  • Take appropriate action to ensure learners are safeguarded both at home and within their learning environment.
  • Identify and support learners who may be at risk of harm, abuse, discrimination or neglect.
