LMP Education delivers award-winning apprenticeship training to the Early Years sector. A shining example of our apprentices is Emily, a 23-year-old Early Years Educator from Little Explorers Nursery.

Emily chose to do an apprenticeship programme to gain more experience and develop in her career. She felt that an apprenticeship programme would suit her better than a traditional university path and enjoyed the way that apprenticeships offer a great level of support and allow learners to get paid while learning.

Working with children has been the highlight of Emily’s role, saying that she loves “watching the children grow and become independent.”

Emily was supported by her LMP Tutor during her apprenticeship as she explains “they have supported me in many ways like helping me with work that I didn’t understand and kept pushing me towards the end of my apprenticeship as I fell behind.”

Throughout her time with LMP Emily developed in her role gaining new skills and developing as an educator. As she progressed through her programme she was promoted to Assistant Manager at her nursery.

Emily is now continuing in her career and looking into the future and developing through a Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner qualification.

What an incredible achievement, Emily, we wish you all the best in the future!
