Harry Kendal – Digital Marketing Apprentice at DC Group
National Apprenticeship Week 2023
Harry Kendal is 18 and part way through a Level 3 Digital Marketing Apprenticeship with a property maintenance company, DC Group in East Sussex. He studied marketing in college and had a strong passion for the field, so he chose the apprenticeship route to gain the necessary experience and earn a wage. Harry is supported by his employer and the training element is delivered by the expert team at LMP Education.
Harry’s tutor Veronique Enright said ‘Harry is a future digital marketing star, he possesses lots of great qualities and works hard to complete his tasks and build his portfolio. “I am Harry and I chose this apprenticeship programme after seeing it advertised with LMP. I was looking for a local digital marketing apprenticeship and this job seemed perfect for me so I applied.
The main benefit of being a Digital Marketer is that I get to be very creative and free my mind to a range of ideas. There are almost no wrong answers with how creative I can be.
Apprenticeships are an excellent option since they allow you to gain vital experience in the workplace a lot faster than going to university.
The support I have received so far during this apprenticeship has been amazing from both my LMP tutor and my employer, DC Group. In the workplace, they give me dedicated meetings, group chats, emails and communication to make sure that I am supported during this apprenticeship.
The help I’ve had from my LMP tutor has been excellent. She is very supportive, and I can reach out to her if I need help. We have regular meetings with in-depth discussion and tutoring.
After this apprenticeship, I am going to look for a job in the tech or advertising industry to pursue my goals further. I will use my experienced gathered from this apprenticeship to better apply my skills to jobs in the future.”
