LMP Group Values: Have Compassion

Our company values are important to us at LMP Group as they act like a compass for our staff and leadership team, guiding decisions, behaviour and culture. Across the LMP Group our values provide direction and purpose as they clarify what we stand for and how we align with our mission and vision.

LMP Group is driven by 4 core values: Be Inspiring, Take Action, Have Compassion, and Ensure Equality. These values are at the heart of everything we do, shaping our workplace culture and how work with our learners, staff and stakeholders.

Through this new article series, we will be breaking down each of the LMP Group core values and discussing how our work ensures that we meet these values. Today we will be focusing on the value: Have Compassion.

Creating opportunities

LMP Group works to create new opportunities for individuals from all backgrounds helping to change lives and drive meaningful impact.

Apprenticeships

Both LMP Education and Inspire ATA provide apprenticeships to learners aged 16 and up. These provide an opportunity for individuals to set off on a career path no matter their experience whether they are just starting out, looking for a career change or wanting to upskill and grow their career prospects. Apprenticeships are a more affordable way to gain education for many making it a way for people of all backgrounds to gain quality education and improve their career outcomes.

Adult Education

LMP Education’s Short Online Courses are aimed at learners aged 19 and up. These courses are mostly funded through the Adult Skills Fund and provide a way for individuals to improve their lives and careers. These courses provide a gateway for anyone looking to develop themselves and their career and our Short Online Courses team help learners in their journey providing individual support for each unique learner.

Leaders in Safeguarding

Safeguarding our learners, the individuals they work with, our employer partners and staff is one of the leading forces of LMP Group. Our commitment to safeguarding runs deep through our company’s message and we work to ensure every individual that interacts with us feels that they have a network of support within LMP that is there to listen, help and act whenever a concern is raise.

Recently LMP Group were awarded the Leaders in Safeguarding GOLD accreditation. The group retained this accreditation after first gaining it in 2023. Learn more about our Leaders in Safeguarding accreditation.

LMP Action

LMP Action is LMP Groups Community Interest Company (CIC). They focus on providing support for communities across England getting involved in a range of community initiatives from offering Alternative Provision, holiday camps and helping to feed those in need through our Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme and our festive hampers. LMP Action’s heart centres around compassion and helping the communities we serve from within transforming futures.

Corporate Social Responsibility

To complement the work done by LMP Action, LMP Group’s  Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative focuses on environmental impact alongside community engagement facilitating volunteering opportunities within the group as well as partnering with businesses to drive positive environmental and social change. Our CSR initiatives look to create a more compassionate future for both people and the planet.

Out value ‘Have Compassion’ calls to all members of the LMP Group to look at the people and communities around them and think how they can support them and help create a brighter future for all.
