LMP Education is proud to be developing Future Leaders through our leadership and management training programmes. Today we are sharing the story of Dan, a 36-year-old Level 5 Operations Manager from Northern Education Trust:

“I choose the programme to develop and better understanding of management and to see what door can be opened in the future.

This programme fitted my lifestyle better for my age and I’ve been able to complete it in working hours of my day-to-day job. I love being able to cover multiple site and meeting different personalities in the schools.

The main benefit of an apprenticeship programme is that in the long run doing an apprenticeship will be good for career progression, and I will be able to support and understand staff needs in more detail.

I have had many successes during my apprenticeship programme but I’m the proudest of passing my level 2 in English and making it successfully to end point assessment.

My tutor was able to adapt to my field of work which made the tasks much easier and relatable for my understanding. My Line manager was always an email away to support with any questions I had.

I believe now having a better understanding that everyone learns different and in different ways, this will be important for me to support the schools.

The next step in my career would be to become a Trust Catering Manager which is a promotion from my current position.”

Well done, Dan, best of luck in the future!
