Responding to industry needs

With the growing emphasis on health, fitness, and wellbeing in education, schools need skilled professionals who can confidently promote active lifestyles.

This pathway helps learners develop specialist sport leadership skills that make them invaluable in primary, secondary, and SEND settings. By gaining this Level 3 qualification learners will demonstrate competence in delivering structured sport and physical activity sessions. The new curriculum will help learners build confidence in encouraging physical activity participation and healthy habits among all pupils, including those with additional needs.

This qualification is an additional stepping stone for learners who wish to progress toward future qualifications in sports coaching, PE specialism, or education leadership roles.
