LMP Education is excited to announce the launch of a new funded training programme: AI Practitioner for Schools. This new level 4 funded training is aimed at staff already working in schools or multi-academy trusts.
Unlike generic AI courses or one-off CPD sessions, the AI Practitioner for Schools Apprenticeship has been built specifically for the education sector.
The programme focuses on helping staff:
- Reduce workload through automation
- Improve operational efficiency
- Strengthen data quality and reporting
- Implement AI safely and ethically
- Develop governance and risk management processes
- Lead digital change confidently
- Build sustainable systems and workflows
Most importantly, staff can build confidence with AI and low code automation and apply their learning to a real workplace project within their own school or trust.
This new apprenticeship focuses on the practical, ethical and effective use of AI and automation across schools and MATs. It is a 14-month programme made up of 9 modules delivered weekly via a virtual classroom and an on-programme assessment.
Responding to the recent influx in AI use across all businesses, this programme is designed to help schools to adhere to recent Ofsted guidance regarding AI use.
This apprenticeship is suited to school staff who have a role that involves systems, data, operations or administrative responsibility. Typical roles of individuals who would benefit from this programme include:
- Teachers with an interest in AI
- AHTs, DHs and Headteachers
- School Business Managers
- Operations Managers
- Data or MIS Leads
- Trust Operations or Central Services Staff
