Kelly Wise is a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprentice working with Thistle Hill Academy. Kelly started her apprenticeship along with a new position in the reception classroom at Thistle Hill Academy. She chose to do an apprenticeship to “progress and gain further knowledge.”
Kelly has moved quickly within her position and has been enjoying her role. She was supported in her role by her employer and LMP tutor which helped her in her progression. When asked about the most important skills she’s develop in her programme she said, “I have learnt how to maintain relationships with the EYFS children.” This skill is crucial for the development of children in early years and reception which helped Kelly to support her pupils.
Kelly is looking forward to continuing her career in Early Years education and to continue to improve her knowledge and skills.
