Gracie Powell felt an apprenticeship with Inspire ATA was the right choice for her because she wasn’t interested in staying in a school environment. Gracie was looking for the opportunity to work, learn and earn, and found this in an apprenticeship with Inspire ATA, hosted by Alexander McLeod Primary School.
“I enjoy getting involved with the children, especially in the playground when their personalities really come out.”
Gracie was very thankful for the skills she developed during her apprenticeship. A key skill she enjoyed learning was to communicate with children and members of staff. She was also lucky enough to work alongside some other apprentices completing apprenticeships with Inspire ATA. She enjoyed the support they would give one another as well as the opportunity to work alongside people that understood what she was going through.
