Course Overview

This free course will provide you with an opportunity to develop an understanding of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and will equip you with a basic understanding of techniques for preventing and addressing ACEs in practice. Adverse childhood experiences can have an impact on the development and mental health of children and young people , which could then continue into adulthood. This NCFE course is designed for individuals wishing to work or progress within a wide range of job roles such as nursery staff, teachers, health/social workers, nursing, public services and education and training.

LEARNERS NEED A LAPTOP OR COMPUTER TO ACCESS THIS COURSE.

  • This course is delivered remotely.
  • Learners must be 19+ and able to commit to the course.
  • Must not have completed these qualifications previously at degree standard or possess the same qualifications higher than level 1.
