This year marks the 18th anniversary of LMP (Let Me Play Ltd).

Founded in 2004, the business was created by Amy Lalla and Matt Lord who came together initially to deliver sports camps for young people. Since then, the company has expanded over the last 18 years to deliver many more sports camps, residential camps, after-school clubs, wrap-around care, alternative education, enrichment programmes, apprenticeships programmes, employability support and adult learning.

Today LMP is made up of 3 separate companies (LMP Education, Inspire ATA and LMP Action) with a collective mission to inspire ambition and widen horizons. LMP provides opportunities and supports social change across the UK. The focus is on education and social impact; working together to bring about positive and sustainable development.

As part of the Spring Staff Conference staff were invited to celebrate ’18 years of LMP’ and over 150 people attended the event, which was held at Paddington Pergola in London on 7 May.

Co-founder and Director Amy Lalla said;

‘It was great to bring together the team to celebrate our 18 year mark.  We have an incredible, dedicated team who make a difference every day to our learners and participants – the day was about recognising the hard work everyone puts in to create meaningful experiences and inspire ambition.’

Co-founder and Director Matt Lord added;

“For 18 years now we have been creating opportunities for young people and adults, and we are very grateful to all that have worked for us over this time. Today is not only about celebrating this journey but also a chance for our current team to enjoy the experience of being part of LMP. Our purpose is to create inspirational journeys not only for our learners and clients, but also our employees”.

Happy 18th Birthday LMP!
