Matthew
Lord

Co-Founder & Director

A graduate of Loughborough University and a former professional basketball player (Germany, Belgium and The Netherlands), Matthew co-founded “Let Me Play” in 2004 to create opportunities for young people – initially with a summer basketball camp. Matthew was the Ofsted nominee in 2020 when our apprenticeship provision was awarded grade “Good” and he has always taken an active role in driving quality and compliance across the LMP Group. Alongside Amy, Matthew oversees all 3 companies within group but heads up Group Central Services (Finance, People & Talent, Marketing & IT) and Inspire ATA, our specialist apprenticeship employment agency.

Amy
Lalla

Co-Founder & Director

The organisation was co-founded by Amy in 2004 and is now established in delivering a variety of programmes to inspire ambition and providing educational outcomes. Prior to the establishment of Let Me Play, Amy has held senior commercial marketing roles at professional football clubs both in the UK and USA. Throughout her career, a driving motivation has been to support programmes that reach those that need it the most and develop exciting programmes to support social impact. Amy has a passion for empowering young people to raise their ambitions and advocates for equality within education and the narrowing of the attainment gap for those from disadvantaged areas. Alongside Matthew, Amy oversees all 3 companies in the group.

Jamie
Mcvey

Sales Director

A graduate from Brunel University, and a qualified PE Teacher Jamie joined LMP in 2012 as a Lead tutor working on study programmes. From there Jamie went on to be Education Manager where he was responsible for growing our education offering across England. In 2017 Jamie became our Associate Director where he supported the launch of Inspire ATA alongside the growth of our national apprenticeship provision. Jamie is Sales Director and oversees LMP Education as an award-winning national training provider.

Lisa
Kilgallon

Operations Director

Lisa has worked in vocational education for 18 years and has a wealth of knowledge and industriy experience. She is an energetic visionary who puts the happiness and well-being of the team above all else, believing that success will come from a happy collaborative workforce. She is committed to driving culture change and lead operational and quality transformations, resulting in a value driven team who are focused on delivering an outstanding teaching and learning experience to every learner, every time. An experienced leader in the FE & Skills sector, Lisa also promotes continuous development and delivering high quality learning.  

Kimberley
Gotts

Associate Business Director

Kim is an experienced CIPD qualified leader with over 20 years of experience in operational management, and human resources. Kim brings a wealth of expertise to her Associate Business Director role as she has honed a unique skill set that blends analytical acumen with creative problem-solving, alongside a strong commitment to providing a supportive and engaging work environment. Kim has passion for people and recognises that employees are the backbone of any organisation, she is committed to empowering individuals to thrive in their professional journeys.
