As part of our Global Curriculum, we are hosting a webinar for apprentices on the subject of motivation.
Join us for a free online session on 17th April where gold medallist, Jamell Anderson, will be talking about his journey to gold and how he stays motivated, determined, and focused on achieving as a professional basketball player.
Jamell began his basketball career playing for Essex Pirates before moving on to play for the Leicester Riders in 2009. He has since become one of the team’s top players and has helped them win multiple British Basketball League (BBL) championships.
Anderson has also represented the Great Britain national basketball team, last year he won gold for GB in the 3×3 team. In addition to his basketball career, Anderson is known for his work off the court, including his involvement in community projects aimed at promoting youth development and physical activity and inspiring ambition. He has also been a vocal advocate for mental health awareness. His story is a great one and provides inspiration for others.
