Every December, LMP Action brings together members from across the LMP Group to pack and deliver festive hampers. This is to support families who face the harsh reality of not having enough food or resources to celebrate this special time.

This year we have had an incredible response to our hampers appeal, raising enough funds to create 1100 hampers to be delivered to families in Hammersmith and Fulham, and pupils from Oasis Academy Hadley.

In addition, many individuals from across the LMP Group and parent company Supporting Education Group chose to give their time and volunteer for the hamper packing day.

Louu Lear, Programme Manager at LMP Action said “This year we have welcomed our largest volunteer group to date, with more than one hundred people giving their time to support families across the borough. Young people from Latymer School, West London Free, Chiswick School, Hammersmith Academy and Kensington Aldridge Academy have joined us with real enthusiasm, alongside dedicated volunteers from Supporting Education Group and colleagues from Hammersmith and Fulham Council. Seeing so many people come together with a shared desire to lift up their local communities has been genuinely uplifting, especially as we move into the Christmas period.

The fundraising efforts across the year have also enabled us to widen our CSR support to a second school, with one hundred hampers now going to Oasis Academy Hadley. Thank you to everyone who volunteered today and to all who have rallied behind our fundraising activities throughout the year.”
