LMP Celebrates 20 Years of Inspiring Ambition

This summer marks the 20^th anniversary of LMP Group, and we are celebrating.

Founded in 2004, LMP was founded by Amy Lalla and Matthew Lord to deliver residential sports camps to create opportunities for young people. Since then, the organisation has grown and expanded into education and training programmes including apprenticeships, employability support, adult learning, alternative provision and transition camps. 

Over the last 20 years, the teams across LMP have been making the lives of others richer by increasing skills, boosting confidence and kickstarting careers.  

The LMP Group today includes 3 companies – LMP Education, Inspire ATA and LMP Action, all with a collective mission to inspire ambition

LMP joined SEG Group in 2023, an education-based organisation with a mission is to enhance and enrich young people’s education. LMP has continued to lead in making a difference in the education and training sector, as well as a positive impact on society.  

The annual LMP Staff Conference is taking place 14-15 August, where the 150+ team members will be joining together in person to celebrate ’20 years of Inspiring Ambition’ at Warwick University. The 2 day event will include a nostalgic look back over the last 20 years at LMP with lots of fun activities and team updates.

Each programme we deliver, and every achievement reflect the team’s dedication and our unwavering belief in the power of education and innovation. Here’s to two decades of shared success, cherished memories, and the many more achievements that lie ahead. I look forward to continuing this journey with all of you, inspired by our past and excited for the future.” 

Co-founder and Director Matt Lord also added; 

“Since 2004 we have been creating inspirational journeys and delivering excellence in education for young people and adults. I am looking forward to celebrating our anniversary this August with everyone at LMP. We have such dedicated and talented staff, and I am very grateful to all who have worked with us over the years. This year is extra special as we have just won the Rate My Apprenticeship ‘Best Training Provider’ award and ‘Best Employer’ award RateMyApprenticeship awards. This is the icing on the ‘LMP birthday cake’ because these particular awards are based on learner reviews, and we are delighted that our learners rate us so highly.”
