In June 2025, Let Me Play Limited (trading as LMP Education was visited by Ofsted inspectors to review the training provider’s performance and effectiveness across apprenticeships and adult learning programmes. We are delighted to announce LMP achieved a “Good” rating from Ofsted which is a testament to the quality of the delivery, learning experience and operations within LMP.
Across the board, Ofsted assessed the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management, adult learning programmes and apprenticeships as grade “Good”.
The report, published on 11 August 2025, is highly complementary of LMP Education, noting that since the last inspection LMP has grown substantially and remarking that “LMP has successfully maintained the good quality of education and experience for apprentices. They ensure that adult learners benefit from an appropriate and ambitious curriculum to help them progress in their lives.”
Ofsted reviewed the learning experience of our apprentices and Short Courses participants, indicating that it was apparent that “Learners and apprentices enjoy their learning.” The report also highlighted the adult skills fund courses noting that “adult learners, many of whom have been out of education or work for some time, develop their confidence and employability skills.”
The report was complementary of LMP tutors saying that “tutors use their expertise and knowledge skilfully to make both online and face-to face lessons interesting and engaging.” The report also specifically highlighted the support provided by the tutors saying that “learners appreciate the high level of support and care they receive from their experienced tutors. They learn in positive and inclusive environments online and at their face-to-face teaching sessions. They particularly like the good-quality interactive online learning resources that tutors use to support their learning.”
When discussing the quality of education taught by LMP the Ofsted report stated that LMP has “carefully considered the curriculum to allow progression opportunities for learners and apprentices.”
LMP staff are passionate about our work and supporting our learners, which was apparent to the Ofsted inspectors commenting that “leaders and managers have a clear vision and mission to bridge skills gaps, particularly in the education sector, and to enhance learners’ and apprentices’ career. Staff share this vision passionately and have high expectations of learners and apprentices.”
The Ofsted result came shortly after LMP Education undertook a Leaders in Safeguarding inspection achieving gold status. Ofsted has also noted the value of safeguarding within LMP stating that “Learners and apprentices feel safe. They understand well the importance of keeping themselves safe.”
