LMP Group promotes environmental sustainability through “Trees” initiative

LMP Group is committed to delivering social impact and supporting environmental sustainability through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. As part of our CSR work, we introduced our Trees Initiative. Through this we plant a tree for every learner that completes an apprenticeship with us, and for every new employee.

Since 2023, LMP has been working with Treeapp to plant trees around the globe, supporting local communities and reducing carbon emissions.

So far, 1346 trees have been planted in 13 countries that are set to absorb over 145 tonnes of CO2 in their lifetimes. Through the planting 8,978 squared meters of land had been reforested, restoring biodiversity to the regions and fighting climate change.

The tree planting operation helps to create local jobs helping to deliver a sustainable source of income to individuals. LMP’s planting so far has created 14 workdays for local communities, a number that is set to grow as we continue our commitment to this initiative.
