Support families in need this Christmas 

Every year, many families face the harsh reality of not having enough food or resources to celebrate this special time.  

For the last few years, LMP Action CIC comes together with members from across the LMP Group to support families in need during the festive period. Last year we have delivered over 1000 festive hampers families in London and Birmingham. 

Louu Lear, Programme Manager at LMP Action explains: “Our festive hamper initiative was originally launched as part of the HAF programme, which we coordinated on behalf of Hammersmith and Fulham Council. It has since evolved into a larger initiative that enables the LMP Group to give back to wider communities. 

Last year, we supported Oasis Foundry in Birmingham, one of the most deprived areas in the UK, and this year we are working with Oasis Hadley. It’s been a fantastic year of fundraising by the team, which has made it possible for us to support another school. 

I’m really proud to work for an organisation that is so committed to giving back to its communities.” 

This year, we are proud to partner with the Children’s Book Project, ensuring that each hamper is not just filled with essential items but also includes two wonderful books that can spark imagination and joy in children’s hearts. 

Each hamper will provide two meal kits designed to feed a family of four, along with non-perishable foods, activity packs, and stationery items that can help to support families as children return to school.
