It is National Apprenticeship Week, and we are shining a spotlight on the dedication, growth and development of our apprentices.
Umar Shar is 25 years old, and he is halfway through a level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship through LMP Education.
Umar joined TIEVA in 2021 as a Marketing Executive, with a digital marketing apprenticeship already under his belt. He is passionate about continuous personal development and after discussions with his line manager decided he would like to gain management experience to further his career.
TIEVA is a fast-growing technology business that recognises and nurtures talent from within the organisation. As part of their learning and development strategy, they encourage staff to grow and progress in their careers through apprenticeship training programmes.
Umar commented ‘I have learnt so much already during this apprenticeship programme including time management, people skills, project management and communication. I have new responsibilities as Campaigns Manager here at TIEVA and I am keen to build a team and expand our campaigns in line with company growth. I have been supported by my LMP tutor Tina, who is super supportive and gives honest feedback to help me improve.’
Umar is a talented marketer looking to move into management and gain further skills for life.
