To start this apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK 3+ years minimum and have a form of UK ID required at enrolment. You must be age 16+ (with no upper age limit) with no prior learning within the area of study.
Achievement of an AAT Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting is advantageous but not essential. You will need to be employed in a relevant finance, bookkeeping or accounting role.

This comprehensive course blends theoretical learning with practical application, covering essential accounting principles such understanding the transactional processes, business strategy and how to enter accounting transactions, perform a reconciliation, correct errors and produce a range of reports using a computerised accounting system.
Throughout the programme you will develop a variety of skills to support your work. These include effectively recording and analysing financial data and consistently delivering high quality, ‘right first time’ financial and performance data. You will also learn about the financial landscape in the UK, money laundering and new technologies, double entry bookkeeping, preparing statements and payroll and VAT.
We have partnered with Mindful Education to deliver this apprenticeship through an online and virtual classroom model. You will study online materials during allotted time at work and also attend regular virtual sessions with an LMP tutor.
Online lessons can be accessed at any time, using a mobile, tablet or desktop – meaning apprentices can fit their study around work commitments. Each lesson lasts around 45 minutes and is accompanied by animations and motion graphics to bring concepts to life. Exercises, interactive case studies and analytical tools help to enhance the learning experience further.
Virtual Classroom – benefit from regular virtual classes with an experienced tutor. A combination of tutor-led work, group exercises and discussion encourage you to apply theory to real-life workplace situations.
